We appreciate your interest in American Studies at The University of Kansas. Regrettably we will not be accepting applications for the 2021-22 academic year due to the ongoing challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate welcoming a new class in Fall 2022, but this temporary interruption in admissions ensures that we are able to fulfill our funding commitments to our current students and increase opportunities for those whose valuable contributions to research and teaching were disrupted by the pandemic. We welcome your inquiries for the 2022-23 academic year and look forward to receiving your applications next fall.
