Biography

Kathryn Robinson received her BA with honors in History from Florida State University. Her interests include African-American history, Marxism, civil rights and liberties, racial violence, Progressive-era politics, and Midwest history. She works as a graduate research assistant to Dr. David Roediger. This year, she holds the Masters Representative position in KU’s American Studies Association of Graduate Students and will also be taking part in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Advisory Council.

In her free time, she guzzles coffee, reads, spends time with her friends, sings, plays with her dog, and bakes cookies.  Her dog, Camilla, takes her on many walks and unanticipated runs.
