Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, taking place April 5–9, is an exciting initiative to raise awareness of the critical role graduate and professional students play in colleges and universities across the country.

She interested in nineteenth century queer studies and the intersections race and sexuality property crime. Her dissertation research focuses on representations burglary after the Civil War. As HASTAC scholar, Rebekah has incorporated digital humanities projects into the classes she teaches, including website and mapping projects, and is now developing DH component of her dissertation.
